BUSINESS PICKING UP

After one of the worst 6 months of trading we can remember, things have definitely improved since August. Hopefully the recession & credit crunch are now a thing of the past and customers can again have the confidence to invest, and the Banks & Finance Houses are again prepared to lend the necessary funds!

We have received Orders worth around Ł300K since August, including 2 Luna 8835 CNC Bending Rolls for one of the UK’s leading lighting manufacturers ( this brings to 5 the number of 8835’s they operate ). Also a Luna 8344 CNC Bending Roller for a new company manufacturing automotive silencers, a RAS TURBObend Plus CNC Folder for a manufacturer of air handling units & kitchen ventilation systems, a RAS TURBObend Folder for a roofer in Scotland and another RAS TURBObend Plus Folder for a roofing manufacturer on the south coast.

USB port & memory stick retrofit now available for RAS Folders

Now that floppy discs are becoming difficult to obtain, RAS have developed a ‘Multitalk’ adaption for most of their old controls that will enable customers to save programs and control parameters onto memory sticks via a USB port. This is much simpler and less involved than using the old disc drives.

We have a number of tickets available for this show in the fabulous new exhibition centre at Stuttgart Airport. This show will feature virtually all of the major sheet metal machinery manufacturers and their very latest technology.

RAS will feature the amazing new MiniBend Centre for automatic bending of small, complex parts (see photo above), as well as their well proven Multibend Centre for larger parts with robot feed & offload. They will have their usual array of high quality CNC Folders and ducting machines.

Almost all of our other suppliers will be there, including Luna International with the 8344, 8268 & 8835 range of CNC Bending Rolls; Wecotech with their high quality hydraulic tube end formers, and Prinzing together with Forstner featuring a line to decoil & roll tubes automatically.
